The project is located in Villa La Angostura in Patagonia.

The purpose of this project is to teach and train low-income women so that they may work all year round in different jobs or on their own. Courses will be given in Computers for Beginners, including assembling and repair courses; Clay Modelling; Haute Couture Sewing; Language Lab; Marketing and Packing. Monthly lectures and seminars on health and social issues are also offered.

The project activities will be accommodated in a Women’s Learning Center, which is housed in an old shed granted by the Municipality of Villa La Angostura, and restored and refurbished by local members of Business & Professional Women International. Members of International Federation of University Women also endorsed the project.

The project was inaugurated on 23 March 2004.
