The Cape Town project is linked with Community Creations, a factory run by Ikamva Labantu, a community-based, non-profit organisation. The local women are taught sewing skills. In order to further develop their range of sewing skills and their understanding of the business environment, and to fully participate more in the running of the factory, Project 5-O has provided training courses in personal development and business skills. Through the Clothing Industry Training Board (CITB), Project 5-O also requested for a range of basic sewing skills to be enhanced and tested.

The trainees have received certificates for the Personal Development/Business Skills course and the CITB course. Some of the trainees have continued with more advanced, supervisory training at CITB.

The women trained at the project sew cuddly dolls depicting different personalities that are sold mostly for export through Ikamva Labantu.
